Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith wrote and directed THE SPLEENECTOMY, starring Anna Faris, as part of Glamour magazine’s Reel Moments program.
Kiwi was the first non-actress to be selected to make a film for Reel Moments. Her short debuted alongside shorts directed by Courtney Cox and Demi Moore.
Kiwi and Anna have collaborated twice on short films, both of which starred Anna and were written and directed by Kiwi. Their first success together was THE HOUSE BUNNY, which was co-written by Kiwi’s long-time writing partner, Karen McCullah.

Spending part of her life growing up on a sailboat, it’s no surprise that Kiwi Smith is full of unique stories and a terrific sense of humor. Her long-time writing partnership with Karen McCullah has yielded some of Hollywood's most memorable comedies: The Ugly Truth, Legally Blonde, The House Bunny, She’s the Man and 10 Things I Hate About You. A serial-collaborator and ubiquitous presence around Hollywood, Kiwi nurtures an ever-burgeoning slate of projects as only a prolific multi-hyphenate can.
