    Via Variety: Sam Trammell of “True Blood” has joined the cast of indie drama “Long Time Gone” opposite Virginia Madsen and Anthony LaPaglia. Smokewood Entertainment is producing “Long Time Gone,” with co-founder and producer Sarah Siegel-Magness (“Precious”) making her directorial debut. Production began Sept. 12 in Los Angeles. Trammell began work Monday. “Long Time Gone” also stars Zach Gilford, Amanda Crew and newcomer Graham Rogers.
